PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY
At the core of our business philosophy is an emphasis on team working with both Client and Consultants, combining the best in design, technical and managerial skills to achieve the optimum results for its clients and encourage repeat business.
Our approach to sustainability recognises the need to prosper in business, without seeking profitability at the expense of the environment or society. We understand that decisions made now have long term as well as short term impacts.
Sustainability involves commitment to economic, environmental and social objectives and we define those objectives as follows:
Economic Sustainability – increased profitability by making more efficient use of resources including labour, materials, energy and water.
Environmental Sustainability – protecting the environment from the impact of omissions, effluent and waste, wherever possible enhancing it and using natural resources with care and consideration.
Social Sustainability – recognising the needs of everyone affected by the construction process from the inception of a design to the eventual demolition of a project, including the construction workers, local communities, the supply chain and the eventual end users.
