PRACTICE PROFILE
The original Practice was founded in 1960, in Preston, by Gerald Cassidy and Bernard Ashton. Since then the company has grown steadily to its present size, diversifying in both its range of Consultancy Services and geographical locations within the region.
A Manchester office was established in the 1980’s, moving out to Bury in the mid 1990’s and in the Spring of 1999 a third office was opened in Halton, Cheshire.
The company now comprises Cassidy + Ashton Architects, Building Surveyors and CA Planning which provides Town Planning and Environmental consultancy services.
Cassidy + Ashton’s experience over the years has covered all major building and development types, ranging from Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Leisure, Housing, Health and Ecclesiastical, both new build and refurbishment, for which we have received numerous Architectural Commendations.
The Consultancy Services available from the Group are extensive including Architecture, Building Surveying, Building Services Design, Town Planning and Development Consultancy, Environmental Impact Assessment, Landscape Design, Project Management, Interior Design and Health & Safety Management.
Quality Management Systems compatible to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 are in place throughout the Group.
