Summit meeting to mark a golden anniversary

In these challenging times for business, the Chester office of the Cassidy and Ashton Group decided to mark the 50th anniversary of the company by setting their own challenge of hiking up Mount Snowdon.

Staff and family members were invited and the hike took the group from Llanberis to the summit, then back down again in time for a celebratory drink.

Since Cassidy and Ashton’s merger with Biggins Sergeant Partnership in 2006, the company has developed stronger local ties with businesses within Chester and the surrounding areas. The company is aiming to expand its operations out of the Chester office to develop the architectural, surveying and planning services already offered.

David Owen, director at Cassidy and Ashton, said: “It has been a challenging four years since our merger but we have now established the Chester office and managed to adapt to the changing economic climate. We are now attracting more enquiries from a variety of sectors within our locality and we are excited about the potential for growth in and around Chester as the market starts to recover.”
