Cassidy + Ashton expands Chester team with two new appointments
We have expanded our Chester team with the appointments of Ellie Lewtas and Aaron Williams.
Ellie joins the firm as an assistant planner while completing her master’s degree in civic design (MCD) in town and regional planning at University of Liverpool.
Ellie will provide assistance and support on planning applications for a variety of development types.
Ellie said: “I’m thrilled to start my career with Cassidy + Ashton. Its commitment to staff development ensures I’ll gain invaluable hands-on experience while working towards my Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) accreditation.”
Aaron joins us as an architectural assistant after finishing his studies at Liverpool John Moores University. He will now also complete his part 3 qualification to become a fully qualified architect.
Using his specialist knowledge of the 3D modelling design tool, Revit, Aaron will develop architectural plans for a range of clients.
Aaron said: “I’m delighted to work with the Cassidy + Ashton team and its clients on a variety of exciting projects. I’m looking forward to applying my training to lead a project from inception to completion.”
Guy Evans, director in town planning at Cassidy + Ashton, said: “Investing in the future is critical to our business. Ellie and Aaron have a real passion and enthusiasm for the profession and have the potential to progress and have a great career with us. I’m delighted to welcome them to the team.”
Susan McBain, associate director, added: “As we continue to grow our business across Chester and the surrounding area it’s essential we create new opportunities to attract new talent. Ellie and Aaron are joining the firm at an exciting time.”
Ellie gained her degree in human geography and regional planning at University of Liverpool and aims to achieve her MCD in September. Aaron studied at Liverpool John Moores University where he gained both an honours and master’s degree in architecture.
