Cassidy + Ashton scores an associate partnership deal with Preston North End

The Preston office of Cassidy + Ashton has agreed an associate partnership deal to support its city football club, Preston North End.

The partnership enables the practice to promote its architectural, planning and building surveying services to the fans at its Deepdale stadium and across the club’s social platforms and website.

Currently competing in the EFL Championship League, Preston North End attracts a crowd of over 10,000 fans at its home fixtures.

Speaking about the associate partnership with Preston North End, Cassidy + Ashton director Chris Taylor said: “As two established local names both with a long history in Preston, we felt that an alliance between the football club and our practice was an important way to connect with the local community. Preston North End continues to be a well-supported club with a dedicated core of fans from all walks of life.

“Our services reach every corner of the city and improves the lives of many Prestonians, working behind the creation of well-designed places to live, learn, work and to have fun too.”

Cassidy Ashton’s recent projects in Preston include the design of the Porsche Centre Preston in the city centre, acting as planning and heritage consultants on the refurbishment of the Preston Bus Station as well as designing The Mill Café at St Catherine’s in Lostock Hall. More recently, Cassidy + Ashton’s design team in Preston is behind the new Fatima Health Centre in Fulwood.

Chris added: “We continue to pride ourselves on the contribution we make to the wellbeing of the people of Preston and are always looking to support the local community not just through our professional services.”

The associate partnership with Preston North End commences at the home match against Birmingham on Saturday January 14, 2022. The meeting of these two clubs is always an exciting event – ever since the 2000/01 season when Preston North End beat Birmingham in the Division One play-offs on penalties in one of the most memorable modern-day games at Deepdale.
