Situated on the periphery of green belt land, the scheme has been designed by architectural and planning consultancy practice, Cassidy + Ashton, using traditional materials such as timber and glass to create a modern façade.

Work is expected to start on site in the summer and the new store, which is likely to open before Christmas, will have 57 parking spaces.

Neil Dermott, associate director at Cassidy + Ashton, added: “Because this scheme is situated within a semi-rural location, we made sure that our designs were in keeping with the surroundings and made best use of traditional materials.”

It is yet to be revealed who the operator will be.
