Redundant Farm Buildings Resurrected for Development at Gamford Farm
Cassidy + Ashton have gained planning permission for the redevelopment of Gamford Farm, close to the village of Rossett in North Wales.
The scheme involves the conversion of several vacant brick barns to create 6 dwellings, the replacement of the deteriorating farmhouse with 2 semi-detached dwellings and the demolition of all other dilapidated portal framed structures.
The site will be restored, improving the character of the landscape and openness of the countryside.
Planning and architecture worked together to tackle a variety of building design and ecology issues. The result is a high quality development which once built, will add to the range of attractive barn conversion homes available in the North Wales area.
