What we did

  • Comprehensive site appraisal and initial feasibility study.
  • Detailed architectural concept design and 3D visualisation.
  • Premium interior design curation, focusing on exposed structural timber, natural stone, and neutral, earthy palettes.
  • Detailed Building Regulations package

External Design & Street Presence

A defining priority for Oak House was ensuring the property sits naturally within its setting. The perspectives and outlines of the neighbouring houses from the original imagery were meticulously retained, allowing the premium new structure to blend comfortably alongside the existing architecture rather than competing with it.

The external materiality is a sophisticated mix of traditional brickwork, subtle timber cladding, and prominent, glazed oak-framed gables that flood the interior with natural light. A sweeping block-paved driveway leads to an integrated double garage and an inviting porch. Moving to the rear, the outdoor space features tailored landscaping that concludes with a secure gate at the end of the gardens, perfectly completing the property’s boundary and ensuring privacy.

Interior Layout & Living Spaces

Inside, Oak House is designed around light, volume, and an appreciation for natural materials. The internal layout maximises the footprint, providing spectacular open-plan living areas that effortlessly connect to the rear gardens and the rolling countryside beyond.

The Main Living Space: At the heart of the home is a breathtaking open-plan lounge and kitchen area, defined by a soaring vaulted ceiling with exposed structural oak trusses. Expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing and patio doors blur the line between indoors and out. The room is anchored by a robust, rustic stone fireplace complete with a modern log burner and integrated log storage, creating a warm, inviting focal point alongside bespoke timber shelving

The Bedroom Retreat: The primary sleeping quarters continue the home’s serene, earthy aesthetic. Structural oak framing is left exposed against neutral, textured walls, accentuated by soft, integrated warm LED lighting. A striking, frameless picture window acts as a living canvas, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding farmland. The space is finished with clean, built-in timber wardrobes and natural textiles to create a calming, minimalist sanctuary. Every architectural detail has been curated to ensure a flawless standard of living, resulting in a home that feels both incredibly grand and intimately connected to nature.
