Simon joined Cassidy + Ashton in March 2020 and through practice opportunities and team success he progressed into the role of Associate in April 2022. An architect and masterplanner with over ten years post qualification experience, Simon has worked across a diverse range of sectors including education, commercial, retail and leisure, residential and urban regeneration/masterplanning including award winning projects and sustainability accolades and accreditations.

His work has covered all RIBA work stages from appraisal, feasibility studies and design development through to construction, practical completion and in-use, in both new build and refurbishment projects. Simon is adept at working across projects of varying scale and complexity, for both public and private clients.

Simon’s diverse experience, skills and qualifications enable him to work confidently with clients, consultants and contractors in a professional and collaborative manner and is proficient working in BIM. He demonstrates an enthusiastic and innovative approach to any new project that he is assigned.

As part of the practice’s management, architecture and design team, Simon is keen to apply and develop a broad skillset that compliments and enhances the practice’s A+ service and reputation.
