Cumbria Academy for Autism (CAA) is an inspirational special free school for children and young people (CYP) with a primary diagnosis of Autism aged 4 to 19 years. Students attending the school are diagnosed as ‘mid-higher functioning’ on the autism spectrum.
What we did
- Architecture and town planning consultancy
- Managing the DfE design and technical process through to completion
This £4M new build includes eight classrooms, each with their own storage areas and a shared lobby, bathroom and ILR between two classrooms. Alongside these classrooms there is a specialist food technology room, science room, life skills area, music room, art and DT room and ICT suite.
This has been procured via the ESFA Framework.
