What we did

  • Architecture and Town Planning consultancy
  • Managing design and technical process through to completion

The pupils have a wide range of learning needs including severe, profound and complex learning difficulties and many have a broad range of additional special educational needs, including hearing or visual impairments, epilepsy or other health conditions, and autistic spectrum disorder.

Works consisted of a comprehensive, six-phase refurbishment programme. Extensions to the front and side elevations enabled administrative areas to be expanded, whilst new facilities and the reconfiguration of classrooms, corridors, ceilings and toilets brought the building up to current guidelines and created new teaching and learning spaces for the staff and pupils.
